(Do we go with that group? Cannot answer that. Allow me to retain my personal illusions of usefulness.)

Many of them are most likely hacks creating situations upwards or regurgitating tired advice they study in Cosmo, just a few – an unique couple of – are real specialists whom deserve their expert position. And few match that information a lot better than Christian Rudder, the information whiz behind OkCupid’s celebrated OkTrends weblog and recent author of a piece in The Guardian.

“i’ve directed OkCupid’s analytics team since 2009, and my work should sound right from the information the consumers produce,” Rudder produces. “As men and women bring innovation deeper and further in their physical lives, it would possibly indicate to us powerful and absurd aspects of which we are as people.”

Someone else enjoying the noise of “profound and ridiculous” in so far as I have always been? I must know: what does OkCupid realize that we regular people do not? Rudder was actually kind enough to offer a couple of instances:

• Ebony guys: dreads, Jill Scott, Haitian, soca, neo spirit
• Latino males: Colombian, salsa merengue, cumbia, una, merengue bachata
• Asian males: high for an Asian, Asians, Taiwanese, Taiwan, Cantonese
